Thirty-eight high school students visited Station 31 in Hockinson today as part of the annual Clark County Skills Center field tour for prospective students. Students considering enrolling in vocational training classes at the Skills Cente
r visited various sites in the County. The last stop on the tour was Fire District 3. Our personnel staged a live fire attack and second-floor rescue in the training tower. Students were given a glimpse of what the job of Firefighter is and how they can learn more about it as a High School Fire Cadet. Students toured the fire station and participated in a question and answer session.

Our High School Fire Cadet program currently has 21 students enrolled. Our 2012-13 Fire Cadets include home schooled students and students from Hockinson High School, Washougal High School, and Camas High School.
