Pancake Breakfast to Benefit Family of Maya Barnard-Davidson

Proceeds from the Pancake Breakfast and Open House will benefit the family of Maya Barnard-Davidson.  Maya is the girlfriend of Taylor Jackson, a Volunteer Firefighter here at Fire District 3.  Maya suffered a traumatic brain injury after a ski accident, which left her on a ventilator and in a coma for 3 weeks.  She is slowly but steadily recovering.  Regaining her short-term memory, relearning to speak, and developing the ability to walk again has been a top priority for Maya and her family.

The all-you-can eat breakfast is scheduled for May 31, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Fire Station 31 in Hokinson.  Individual tickets are $5.00, or you can feed the whole family for $15.00.  The annual event kicks off the Saturday activities during Hockinson Fun Days.  The breakfast is followed by a parade at noon and a carnival at Hockinson Middle School at 1:00.  Join us for a good time and a good cause.
